Does anyone know when the stimulus direct deposits will start in GA?

There is no way to track when you will receive the Stimulus Payment.

The IRS has started to send out the Stimulus Payments.

From the IRS website

For security reasons, the IRS plans to mail a letter about the economic impact payment to the taxpayer’s last known address within 15 days after the payment is paid. The letter will provide information on how the payment was made and how to report any failure to receive the payment. If a taxpayer is unsure they’re receiving a legitimate letter, the IRS urges taxpayers to visit IRS.gov first to protect against scam artists.

If you received a refund on your tax return, the Stimulus payment will be directly deposited to your bank account.

If you had a balance due, the IRS is setting up a portal where you can enter your bank information to receive the Stimulus Payment as a direct deposit.

Economic Impact Payments

Currently this portal is not available, it is expected to be available later this month.

I noticed when I done my unemployment paperwork that their not using Green Dot bank and I was wondering if the IRS is allowing us to use it because that's what I put on my stimulus return.

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts.

We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.
