Please clarify which state and provide a little more information on what you mean by "about dependents".

i don't want to answer this incorrectly. i presume it will be "0" because of the ages and status as full time students, but could be wrong. this feels like a new question.

Dependents - Virginia AGI

Enter the Virginia adjusted gross income (AGI) for each of your dependents. If none, enter zero.

If they had any income (even if they do not have to file a Virginia tax return), you must include the VAGI- if they did not work you can enter zero.

For the Virginia Low Income Individuals Credit, you may qualify if your total family Virginia adjusted gross income is below federal poverty guidelines. Family Virginia adjusted gross income includes the total Virginia adjusted gross income for you, your spouse, and your dependents, even if they do not file their own Virginia returns.
