Does anyone else have the website mess up on them

So I did my taxes and had to do an amend and now it says pending and it's been like that for about 2 months now, and have not been notified why I have not gotten my income tax. I may choose another tax place if this does not get fixed soon

What does IRS.gov "Where's my Amended Return" say ?

I have checked for 3months now and it tells me my status is not yet available,  and I can not get in touch with the irs to see what's going on.

the IRS is WAY backlogged - suggest (seriously) waiting another 6 months as the IRS told Congress they are committed to eliminate the backlog by the end of the year.

Oh wow, so from July then now and another 6 month? I hope I get some back pay for waiting so long

If you amend now and pay an "amount you owe"  before your 1040 is processed, IRS will return that money to you when your 1040 is processed.

later when they get to your amendment, you will get a bill.

But I do not owe any money to the irs

Why did you amend?  Did you wait to amend until your first return was done processing and you got the first refund?  You were suppose to wait.

I completed my return and one if my jobs had sent the w2 late and I went back to add it, I wasn't aware I had to wait, this will be my third income tax I get
