I moved to a new state, Illinois, and as a new resident must mail in the first years tax return. When I open the PDF version of my tax paperwork, the IL paperwork has a watermark stating "Do not mail E file only". This is only on the IL paperwork not on the other state's paperwork. How can I obtain a copy of the 1040 without this watermark so that I can mail it in?

Please state Turbo version CD or Online, Basic, Deluxe etc.
Try checking the "Print for your records" option to see if there is a watermark.
IL prefers efile and there is no such rule that you must mail your return. In fact, IL says this in the instructions:
Almost all taxpayers can file electronically. Visit mytax.illinois.gov or see your tax professional. If you do not wish to file electronically, you may use the paper Form IL-1040.
IL hasn't finished and not all forms are finalized for print. Please check forms availability here. Select online, Windows, or Macintosh from the drop down menu. Whenever the federal and states change a form, we have to as well. This happens throughout tax season.
Without an in-state ID, they must be filed by mail in the first year. Regardless, the paperwork (1040) is listed as ready for print as well as for E-file (on the Tax form availability), however the watermark on my tax forms prepared though turbotax still have the watermark present
