No, you do not have to send another copy of the return with your 1040V if your e-filed return was accepted.  If not, you will send in the 1040 V form, the 1040 and your payment.  You can go to Check Status of E-filed return to check the status of your return to see if it was accepted or if you owe, or will receive a refund.
