Do I qualify for free filing if I have a 1099MISC from having some months of disability from CA for my cancer treatment?

This is the only form I have that I’m not sure is covered under the simple taxes.

TurboTax does not support Form 1099-MISC with the Free Edition. You can try the IRS Free File Alliance.

You may not have to file. Not all 1099-MISC disability income is taxable. tax Expert DawnC says:

If you and your employer share the cost of a disability plan, you are only liable for taxes on the amount received due to payments made by your employer. So, if you pay the entire cost of a sickness or injury plan with after-tax money, you do not need to report any payments you receive under the plan as income.

See I received a 1099-misc for my short term disability, where does this go on the return? is it taxable...
