I bought a new computer and installed my copy of Turbotax 2018 onto my new machine, transferred old Turbotax files from my old computer to the new and started up the program. I was able to download my home state (NY) for free, but I had also downloaded NJ onto my old computer. Now it's asking me to pay $45 again to download NJ again onto my new computer. Does Turbotax have a record of my prior download so I do not need to pay again? If not, is there a way to transfer over my NJ state download from my old computer?
