My wife had marketplace insurance for less than a month last year (in January) and we received a 1095A showing coverage for that month, including a $127 advance credit in box c. I neglected to include this information when I filed my taxes last month in error and now the IRS wants me to file an 8962 & the 1095A... HOWEVER I noticed that on the 1095B that she received from the employer healthcare coverage she was enrolled in after the marketplace coverage, it too has the January box "checked" indicating coverage for the month of January. My question is, would it be possible to simply disregard the 1095A completely because she was covered that month according to the 1095B? This would of course allow us to avoid the recovery of the $124. Thanks in advance.
