Do I need a form 8453-FE if no tax is due

I am doing a Trust return with TurboTax Business.  No tax is due. And I selected the option credit the overpayment to next year's estimated taxes, so no money has to go in either direction- no refund and no payment due.

Do I really have to attach a form 8453 in order to e-file.

Yes. The form does more than just authorize a payment or refund.

Thanks.  Good to know.  I decided to just mail the return. I found the instructions on the form confusing, and, even if there were a need to transfer money either way, I'm not sure that Vanguard could handle ACH/EFT with the IRS.  All payments to the "Current Beneficiary" are to my checking (as I am both the Trustee and the "Current Beneficiary").  Maybe next year.
