Do I have to attach 1099G with Federal Tax Returns?

I got a refund from Local Taxes (Pittsburgh,PA) last year because i was a non-resident alien. Do i have to attach 1099-G with my federal tax return?

If you are mailing your return you would send a copy of this form in with your return. If you are e-filing all you need to do is add the form into the program.

Here is how to enter your State/Local 1099-G:

1. Click the Federal Taxes Tab( Personal Tab in Home & Business)
2. Choose Wages & Income
3. Choose Explore on my own or I'll choose what to work on 
4. Scroll down to Other common Income
5. Click Start/Update next to State and Local Refunds ( 1099-G)
