Dividend form from an Australia company

I have an Australian dividend that the Australian company provided me a Shareholder Dividend Statement for. I own 20 shares of this private company. I'm going to report the dividend like I would as if I received a 1099-div from a US company.

Question: Would this Australian dividend be considered a "qualified" dividend on my US tax return since the US has a tax treaty with Australia?

Yes.  Notice 2024-11 stipulates that Foreign Dividends may be qualified un der an Australian/US treaty arrangement.
