    What type of income do you have?  Your 1099-R should show the taxable amount in box 2.  Depending on the amount of your retirement or disability that is taxable and other income you have, you  may not need to file a return.  Other than the taxability of your military disability retirement income, there is not an additional special tax break for disabled veterans.

    I'm a 100% service connected Veteran.  Totally and permanently disabled.  Does this condition effect my taxes?
