Difficulty of Care 2014-7

I received W2 for Medicaid waiver program wages with blanks in all dollar amount boxes.  However box 14 has "NOTICE 2014-7 WAGES" and gives the $ amount of wages.

I originally imported the applicable difficulty of care W2 and TurboTax handled the wages correctly as income for IRA but excluded it from taxable.

All was well until I prepared to e-file.  TT said I couldn't e-file because I had a W2 with a blank in box 1.  I would need to mail.

I then deleted the imported W2 and manually enter but TT still wouldn't allow e-file.

I want to e-file   Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes.  You cannot e-file a return reporting a W2 with zero wages.  Since all the wage boxes are empty indicating the wages are excluded under "Notice 2014-7", there are no wages to report.  Delete the form W2 from your return; this should allow the e-file.  You can delete the W2 in the federal "Wages & Income" section or use the "Delete a form" option (steps below).

For desktop (CD/Download) products switch to "Forms Mode" to find/delete the form W2.

1. Select "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "Delete a Form"
4. Find the form W2 that doesn't apply
5. "Delete"
6. "Confirm Deletion"
