I am probably missing something simple here but here is my question... I am using the Turbo Tax Deluxe version. In the box that show Refund or amount Owed for Fed and State, when I click on it the spreadsheet shows Total Income as 150,085. In the working section of Turbo Tax, it shows 143,090. Why the difference?

Are you saying that the $150,085 is on the Wages and Income screen inside the TurboTax interview, but the 1040 shows $143,090?
As you can see, I am not sure where you are talking about seeing these numbers, but please note that in the Wages & Income (summary) screen, that TurboTax sometimes includes items that are not taxable as "income". This is to acknowledge that you entered them, not that they will necessarily end up being taxable on your 1040.
So what is on your return that is $6,995?
Your explanation seems to hit the nail on the head. The 1040 is the lower figure and the working interview is the higher. For the life of me I cannot find the $6995 difference. I’ll give it another going over today. Thank you for your quick response. Jim
