While doing taxes for 2020, the program asks "Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?", but we are covered by my family high deductible plan through my employer. I selected HSA for me with high deductible plan, and a zero value HSA for my spouse (with high deductible plan). We did not purchase a plan in the ACA Marketplace.
Why does the following question and statement appear in TurboTax Premier:
Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?
If you have an Affordable Care Act plan, you should have received this form. Contact your Marketplace if you haven't received this form yet.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
answer no unless you had marketplace.gov (obamacare) insurance.
Just answer NO and move on. You only report a 1095A if you got one. You do not report 1095B or 1095C.
Thank you for the prompt answer.
