I moved in June 2023 to New York City from out of state. Used Turbo Tax State software to prepare New York State Return and filed it. I am also residing in New York City - Manhatten Area. Why Turbo Tax did not prepare my New York City Tax Return?
As per what I heard, I need to file also New York City tax return.

To clarify, are you sure the New York City return was not included? Did you look at your tax return and documents?
Only form Turbotax prepared is IT-203 for New York State Part time resident.
I do not see any New York City tax form.
I am doing first time new york state tax return.
Does new york state also collect new york city tax and no separate form for new york city?
Turbotax prepared NY State tax form and e-file that has also city info.
Does it mean New York City tax form also done and no need to prepare new york city tax form?
Thank You.
As you complete your New York state return, TurboTax will determine if you need to also file a New York City return, which is part of your New York State Form IT-201. On Form IT 201, items 47-61 are for New York City and Yonkers income.
People, trusts, and estates must pay the New York City Personal Income Tax if they earn income in the City. The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance collects the tax and it usually shows up as a separate line on your pay stub.
If you earned money in New York City, then you are likely required to file a New York City return. You can preview your tax return before you e-file to determine if this section of your New York State Income Tax Return is complete.
You can do this using TurboTax Online as follows:
