Desktop software for tax year 2025

I just got an email that because of Microsoft stopping support of Windows 10  in October Turbo Tax will only be able to be used with Windows 11 computers.  This is incredibly stupid. I've used Turbo Tax for over 20 years, but no more.  Because of this our relationship of many years has ended. I will be searching for other Tax software platforms that actually care about their long term customers financial well being. Bye!

There are not many providers of desktop tax software.  It remains to be seen if those other tax software providers will/won't also migrate their system requirements from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
