The step-by-step for entering K-3 income has a minor but confusing error. I am asked to enter gross income information from Schedule K-3, Part II, Section 1, Line 24. The last income item requested is stated as "Foreign Gross Income - Gross income from all sources (Column G). It is not "Foreign Gross Income," but only "Gross Income."

The interview is asking you to enter Foreign Gross Income, using the "Gross income from all sources (Column G)" information from your K-3.

Thank you, Alicia, but I believe you are partially incorrect. The interview asks for "Foreign" gross income from column G. However, Column G also includes US sources. The interview question implies that column g is foreign ONLY, which it is not, and is therefore incorrectly worded. Please look at Schedule K-3 carefully and you will understand what I'm saying.
