Is there a max on dependents claimed to receive credit?

There is no maximum number of dependents you can claim. You may claim as many eligible dependents you may have. However, there are no longer any exemptions for the taxpayers or their dependents, but you will receive tax benefits for claiming dependents on your tax return.
