Dependent

My niece is 16 and lived with me the whole year, but she worked and received unemployment all together it was like 8000 but I took care of her all year . Can I still claim her as a dependent.

You can claim her given what you posted. She should file her own return. Since she had unemployment income you might have to deal with the Kiddie Tax. The program will let you know. Be sure that she checks the box saying that she can be claimed by someone else.
