Department of Taxation (Total Overpayment)

Received something in the mail from the department of taxation saying this form takes place of federal forms 1099-G and 1099 INT it has Box 1-3 and Box 1 has a dollar amount. In the explanation below it says "Box 1- Shows the TOTAL OVERPAYMENT before credits, refunds, contributions, consumer's use tax payments and offsets of state and local income tax for a previous taxable year." Where do i put this information when filing?

Department of Taxation (Total Overpayment)

This is essentially a state tax refund.

You enter it by typing 1099-G into the Find window on the upper right,

then selecting state and local tax refund from the list below,

then click on the Jump To that appears.
