Deluxe State return from 2017 to 2018?

I have turbo tax 2017 deluxe with state return. But this year the standard deduction for single filing status was increased and so I have to buy a new version of TurboTax.

But do i buy the state return again for the 2018? As stated before I did have it on my 2017 version.

Yes, you will need to buy the state again.

Because the tax laws change so much each year, particularly this year, you can never reuse an older version to complete your current tax return,
