I started off this year using a CPA. I don't think he's calculating my RSU taxes right, so I started entering everything in the web version of TT to see what it says. And yes, it did show me owing about $2000 less than the CPA did. But I couldn't dive in to the forms to see the difference, and the web version was lacking to me. (Like it couldn't download my 1099 from Wells Fargo Advisors.)
I ended up paying for Turbo Tax like always, and now I've got all the data in there pretty much, but there's a slight delta. TurboTax Premier Web version shows me owning 472 less federal and getting 11 more of a state refund than Turbo Tax Mac does. Given that TT Mac was able to directly download more forms than the web version was I trust it more, but is there any way I can try and figure out what's causing the delta?

It's frustrating, because there isn't feature parity. Web version couldn't pull in my 1099 from WF but the desktop version could.
The online version should have imported 1099 too. One thing you can do is download the .tax2018 file from online (you can download it for free) and open it in the Desktop program.
That's a good suggestion, if you download the tax data file and open it as a separate tax document (different name, etc) then you can view or print the detail worksheets from both versions. You don't need to pay for the online program since you can open your online file in the Desktop program.
