Defendant income

If my son (18) had a job and made income under $1000, does he file taxes? I'm claiming him as a dependent. Or does he not have to file? Do I have to claim his income?

Yes, he files his own return and he will NOT claim himself (make very sure he doesn't or don't let him file first). And you do NOT put his wages on your return.
