defective software disc Premiere 2023

I believe the issue with Turbo Tax 2023 is related to the disc - I attempted to install it on two different computers and in both cases the same issue showed - missing MSVCP140.dll.
I came to this conclusion because after the following: using the serial number that came with the new disc I purchased; I downloaded the software program from Intuits website with no problem. So I asked myself why would the same program downloaded from Intuit's website onto a computer with the missing MSVCP140.dll needed for installation download with no issue. It became clear to me that it's more than likely than not related to a defective installation disc!

From this day forward I will purchase the download copy of the program. Now I intend to request a refund from the packaged copy as opposed to the download copy of the program.
