deductions are not consistent

I am itemizing...In the deduction summary "Other Income Taxes " i noted as $5684. Yet a few screens later where taxable income is summarized this total is no listed in the deductions. why is it missing? How do i fix

Yes, your deduction is probably limited, or combined with other deductions on the summary page you are seeing.

 

"Other income taxes" probably include state and local taxes. All of your state and local taxes are added together and limited to $10,000 ($5,000 if you are Married Filing Separately). 

 

The state and local taxes limitation applies to the total amount of your:

  • State and local sales tax, or state and local income tax.
  • Property taxes, also known as real estate taxes
  • State and local personal property taxes

there is a 1:1 correspondence of values from one sheet to the next except "other taxes" deduction is missing i the deduction listing o the taxable income summary sheet

If you can post screenshots of the two screens you are comparing, we'll try to help.  

 

The TurboTax summary screens that display amounts for Income/Deductions/Credits on various screens are not always reflected in this format on your actual tax forms.
