Credit card payment

I was told that if I used a credit card for payment for my tax preparation, that $40.00 would be taken off the purchase, and that wasn't done!!!!!  Why not?????  Why advertise that if you aren't going to follow through?

First you advertise it is free, which it is not!  Then you say you get $40.00 off if you use a credit card, which is bull as well.

I will use Tax Act next year and tell my friends and anyone else that will listen as well!!!

Credit card payment

Are you sure that’s what you are thinking? If you want to pay turbo tax fees out of your refund, there is an extra $40 service charge to do that. By paying the fees directly you avoid that extra service charge but it does not reduce the posted fee.

It sounds like you were advised that you would save $40 by using a credit card. Which you did, as if you were to have your fees deducted from your refund you would incur an additional fee.
