I have used TurboTax in the past but bought the software Costco. It always included one state return. I can't tell if downloading this straight from you includes a Colorado return. Does it? If it does not, how much would that be?

If the icon on the Costco site read "Federal + State" then it includes one free state download.
The box or online description needs to say Federal + State. If you buy Basic it does NOT come with the free state program. And Deluxe comes both ways in retail stores, Deluxe with a free state and Deluxe without a free state for states without an income tax. So be sure to read it close. Turbo Tax only sells Deluxe with the free State.
Below is a screenshot from the Costco web site.
They only sell a version of The only version they sell without a free state is Deluxe that does not include a free state program.
@Anonymous_ Uh, the second one shown is Deluxe with state. But I don't see Basic listed.
Yeah, you're right and I meant to write that the only version of TurboTax they sell without a free state is Deluxe.
They don't sell Basic.
And....make sure you are clear on this.....even if the software includes the state program.....that is for preparing the state return. You pay an extra fee to e-file the state when you use the CD/download. Up to March 1, it will cost $20 to e-file a state return; after that it goes up to $25 to e-file the state. You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print, sign and mail the state return.
