On the AR state review, this review warning displays:

Information Worksheet: Married Filing Joint Box You are currently filing as married filing separate combined since either you or your spouse have zero itemized deductions listed on Form AR3, the state of Arkansas requires that you change your filing status to married filing joint. Please check the married filing joint textbox.

Actually some of the itemized deductions on Form AR3 do apply to my spouse. Earlier in some dialog i mis entered this allocation. Cannot get back to that question. Went back thru several times. Deleted form AR3Deleted all state forms several times and restarted; question never resurfaces.

"Cannot get back to that question. "

Which question can't you get back to? The Review page that is showing this warning message or the screen that talks about you entering itemized deductions for Arkansas that are not on your federal return?

Thanks for your reply.

The question i cannot get back to is in regards to the splitting of itemized deductions. There were for example, $2500 in deductions and it asked which part was hers. I didn't understand the question at the time and entered zero. In truth, some of the deductions were hers so i wanted to go back and correct this. Without corrections, per the message, i cannot file Married Filing Separately on the state tax, which is the default and preferred method. Instead, it forces the Married Filing Joint which increases the tax.

(note: all of these deductions were entered on the Federal Return, but since we filed jointly on the Federal return there was no inquiry about whose deductions were whose)
