Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,

AND, to find your AGI next year.

That goes for your State Tax Return also.

I have had my IRS 1040 rejected 4 times.  Turbo tax indicates the AGI from 2020 may be wrong.  I, however always print my returns and the 2020 AGI done by turbo tax is the one I submit.  Does not work.  Since the 1040 was not rejected last year can I assume it was correct or should I start over with 2020 and do an amended return?  I surely hope that is not the case.  I am running out of time.  I would really appreciate your help.  I have talked to 3 different Turbo Tax employees without a solution.  One told me to contact IRS directly but you know how that goes, never got to a real person.

To find out what the IRS has as your AGI for 2020 you need to set up an account with the IRS and pull your tax return transcript for 2020.  Here's how new users get started:

  1. Select View Your Account on the IRS.gov homepage.
  2. Select the Create or View Your Account button.
  3. Select the “Log in to your Online Account” button or Click Create Account.
  4. Pass Secure Access authentication. This is a rigorous process to verify the taxpayer's identity. ...
  5. Create a profile.

Once you have established your account,  you can simply log in to your account and navigate to the "Tax Records" tab. There you'll be able to select, view or download the transcript you need.
