To start your taxes over follow the steps below. Be aware that this will cause you to have to enter your information in again.
1.If you haven't already done so, sign in at TurboTax.com and select the blue Take me to my return button.
2. On the welcome back screen, in the left-side menu, select Tax Tools, and then select Clear & Start Over (click or tap the 3 lines in the upper-left corner if you don't see this menu).
3. Answer Yes in the pop-up to confirm.
When I file it first gave me the total of 4,477 in federal and I goes back and it says 2,148.I'm wondering what happen
Your refund may have changed because you added more information to your tax return. Perhaps you added another W-2 or changed a dependent. TurboTax recalculates your refund (or tax due) each time you enter additional information.
It is best to wait until you have entered all your information and done the review before considering the amount of your refund.
