TurboTax says it can manage your Crypto with TurboTax Premier but I cant find where you would import the CSV file from Coinbase. All of the instructions I have found online are for the online version of TurboTax.

Unfortunately, the TurboTax Desktop CD/Download versions of Premier do not have a special section for Cryptocurrency and do not import a CSV file from Coinbase.
Only the TurboTax Online versions have this functionality currently.
Bottom line. Turbo tax does not support filers who own crypto. Do we know which companies that do? (HRBlock?)
Wow! This stinks! I purchased the download for that specific purpose. It will cost more to purchase the programs than I'll get back. What is a cost efficient solution for this?Turbo Tax should correct this or stop advertising that Premier can download the CB forms. ridiculous
Its strange why TurboTax is causing this problem for those using desktop version. Now, I'll have to use some other softwares I guess to get that info.
I see. Thank you for your honest answer. Not happy with TT for misleading us all on this I mean how difficult can it be if it is already available for online customers? Can this added by in an Update? Is TT even aware or care?
Tax bit does offer a method to pull from coin base and import into TT premier desktop. I did that this year. It's frustrating that cointracker data continues to only be supported in the online version of TT.
Thank you! I will have to re-think buying TT.
Will the free version of taxbit allow the upload to TT?
No, Taxbit is not supported by TurboTax for import.
You can now import your cryptocurrency transactions from more than 15 different cryptocurrency services directly into TurboTax. Crypocurrency transactions are only supported in TurboTax Online and the TurboTax mobile app at this time.
TurboTax supports imports from these cryptocurrency services.
We’re working to support more exchanges in the future.
