Closing a S-Corp
How do I, and what do I need to file to close down my S-Corp?
Also, can I close it down before the end of this calendar year so I don't need to continue filings in 2023?
You need to file a final 1120-S for the 2022 tax year and also file articles of dissolution with your state.
Obviously, there are other winding-up responsibilities, such as closing bank accounts, et al.
