Can i claim my newborn baby that was born in november 2016 on my 2016 return?
Yes. Be sure that you answer the question about how long she lived with you as the entire year. In the year that a child is born, the IRS deems that the child lived with you for the entire year. Also, you must enter a valid SSN for the child.
