Question

Claimed too many allowances.

What happens if i made a mistake and claimed 4 allowances on my Federal W4 form for work for 9mos and i only claim 2?

    Then it is possible that you will have taxes owed on your federal tax return if not enough federal taxes were withheld from your income.

      You should consider changing your W-4 for 2026 so that you have enough tax withheld.
