Churches and Nonprofits

Hi, I am a church insurance agent that works with nonprofit organizations.  I wondered which Turbo Tax plan would be best for a nonprofit organization.

I don't want to recommend the wrong plan for a nonprofit organization such as a church.

Churches and Nonprofits

Non-Profits are required to file form 990, TurboTax does not support this form in any of our products.

Depending on your churches situation, they may be able to file form 990-EZ which is the short version of the 990. In order to file form 990-EZ, your church must have less than $200,000 in the tax year and total assets of less than $500,000.  If it does not meet this criteria, they would need to use form 990.
