Check This Entry box requiring cost or other basis method on Form 4684 . Box will not accept any info to be entered and error will not clear. Message says e- filing cannot occur without the box being filled. Help!

Can you clarify your situation? Form 4684 is for Casualty and Theft Losses? Is that what you are trying to claim?
