Charles Schwab Login is temporarily unavailable.

I'm trying to import my 1099 forms from Charles Schwab and I cannot sign in through Turbotax.

 

I believe this is because TurboTax currently redirects to the wrong login page. At the bottom of the current page it says "For institutional use only."

 

They need to point the page to the client login page.

Charles Schwab Login is temporarily unavailable.

Since you are using a version of Online, try this and see if it will allow you to login:

 

  • Log completely out of Turbo Tax. 
  • Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies. 
  • Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.  
    • You can also try a different browser as well, or "incognito mode".  

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please reach back out here in the thread and someone will follow up with the next steps.

I'm actually using the desktop version of Turbo Tax Premier (I selected the wrong one when I was posting)

Regarding importing from Charles Schwab, please see the Help Article here for further assistance with your 1099.  

 

If this still isn't working for you, please try to utilize the workaround posted on this thread here.  Some users have also had success completing the upload earlier in the morning or later in the evening.

Charles Schwab Login is temporarily unavailable.

I have tried both methods you recommended but I am still getting "Login Temporarily Unavailable" response. Can you please assist?

Can you login to Charles Schwab outside of TurboTax? It sounds like more of an issue with their website. @SJD1
