Change our W-4 so we don’t owe taxes again

Myself and my wife are both working fulltime in Delaware and filing taxes jointly, I need the correct value in our w4 so that we won't owe the taxes.

Change our W-4 so we don’t owe taxes again

Hi, @RickyA1 ! The best advice would be for both of you to fill out Step 2 of the W-4, which relates to Working Spouses. But only one of you should complete Step 3, claiming the dependents. It's generally best to do this on the highest-paying job. Hope this helps, please let me know if this raises additional questions!

It is, though you have included no personally identifiable information. However, you should also be able to edit your post, by clicking on the three dots to the right of your post.

Use the Tax Withholding Estimator on the IRS web site to figure out what you and your spouse  should each put on the W-4 forms that you give to your employers. It's much easier than using the worksheets on the form. It will let you adjust your withholding to get the approximate refund amount that you want.
