Change from free version to deluxe version

How to I change from free version back to deluxe. You system says I don't qualify for free version but directs me to IRS site and won't let me go back to the deluxe version.

You were using Free File and now do not qualify to use it? Sorry but the IRS safeguards users from being able to upgrade to a paid version from Free File. You cannot do it. If you need to use a paid version then you will have to start over using a different account and user ID in the version you need.

What I finally did was start from scratch with turbotax with the idea I would have to create a new account to get out of the IRS free version already started and when I selected the deluxe and that I had used turbotax before, I was given the option to upgrade to deluxe with my established account without any loss of past data entered.
