Are you needing to prepare a prior-year return, but see that Online TurboTax is only for 2016 returns?

2015 or earlier returns cannot be prepared online. They have to be prepared using the desktop software (CD/download). You can purchase the download software from TurboTax at the page below, or may be able to find it at a discount from a reputable authorized retailer like Amazon.

Prior-year returns cannot be efiled; they have to be printed, signed, and mailed.

If you started a 2015 return online prior to the October shutdown, you can download the *.tax2015 data file from your account and finish it in the 2015 desktop software without starting over. If you already paid for the 2015 return, talk to TurboTax Customer Support, and they should furnish you the software.
