CD vs. download

I have always purchased the CD version so that if my PC crashes, I can re-install prior years onto a new PC. (I have done this previously after buying a new PC).  If I purchase 2020 via download and my PC crashes in 2024, is there a way for me to recapture my 2020 Turbo Tax on a new PC?

it is highly unlikely you would need to access your 2020 tax data in 2024. It is more likely you would need to reload your 2024 TT program. However, if you scroll down to bottom of a screen, under "CD/Download Products" you click on "CD Download Login" and you will see a list of all TT products you have downloaded, including past years {e.g. 2020} as well as the current year, which you can redownlosd.
