Cannot transfer 2023 tax

The 2024 TurboTax does not recognize the 22023 version on my computer for file transfer

So when you open TurboTax 2024 and choose 'Start New Return', then click on transfer, are you browsing to your .tax2023 file on your computer?

When you click on it, what happens? Do you get an error message?

Make sure your 2023 file is on your C drive, not on a removable drive. If it is, move it to your C drive.

I was able to down load 2023 taxes after I changed the file from Read Only to Read and Write.
