Cancel Turbotax MAX

Yes, you can cancel it, if you have not yet purchased it. Just follow the steps in the following FAQ, and it will remove the MAX package for you.

If you changed your mind about MAX, you can remove it as long as you haven't already paid for it.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Click File near the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. Click Start next to Step 1, Review your order.
  3. When you get to your order summary, click Remove next to Max Assist & Defend.
  4. On the following screen, click Remove MAX benefits.

If you have purchased MAX bundle with all its benefits, those benefits are permanently attached to your account.

Cancel Turbotax MAX

So if you have already purchased it, will it charge me extra “every” year when I file my taxes, or was it just a one time charge?

What if I already paid for it?  I just want to finish filing my tax.

I don't care if I have to lose $50 paid, but refuse to give all the personal info

requested vy MAX. Pls reply ASAP as I wan to file my taxes, which just needs to

be filed with IRS and the state.  Thank you !
