The rest of it didn’t not post. My apologies.
Health insurance is not a tax. A lot of people are fighting the case if not having health insurance and winning.
There is no point in paying for health insurance when I only go to the doctor once in a blue moon.
Especially when I have insurance. I still have to pay.
I had nearly a $700 penalty.

Unfortunately, if you don't have qualifying healthcare coverage you must pay the the fee when you file your federal tax return for the year you don't have coverage.
Click here for a tool that will help you decide if you qualify for one of the healthcare exemptions. If you qualify for one of the exemptions, you don’t have to pay the healthcare penalty.
