Can't save state file to pdf

I finished my taxes.  Yay.  Saved the Federal tax return to a PDF, but can't seem to save the state file to a PDF.  I thought maybe TT would save both to a PDF, but that didn't happen either.  It is the middle of March 2025, and forms should be updated.  I haven't sent my file yet because I want to save it first before submitting.  Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.

When you choose 'Print/Save for your Records' and 'Save as PDF' the Print Selection generally defaults to include both your Federal and State returns as one PDF document.  You can return to the link in the File section and scroll down the forms selection to be sure your state return is checked.

Can't save state file to pdf

Thank you so much for your response.  Unfortunately, I can't figure out where to find this pop up window on a Mac I was able to save my Fed return seperately, but not my state... whenever I am in the program, it only shows me the Federal return and I can't choose the state.  I can see the pop up window to choose when I print, but not to save as a PDF.  It would be nice if the program would allow one to choose (save as) and choose the state.  I am currently stuck in a loop here.  Any additional help is more than welcome.

The program does allow you to print the state.  In the upper left corner next to the apple logo select file>>Print.  A popup will appear where you can then select your states or federal return to print. Select Continue.

When you get to the next screen you should have the option to print.  Instead of clicking on the print button select pdf.  This will allow you to save your file as a pdf.

Note: it is always a good idea to have a printed copy incase something happens to your computer.
