can't finish e-file

Hello,

I've finished everything except e-filing. I hit another option but continue to get emails about e-filing. I've got my AGI from the 2018 tax return needed to finish this step. However, I can't find how to get to the e-file page.

When a tax return can't be e-filed no matter what you do

We recommend that you sign up within TurboTax to be notified when your form is ready. When you try to e-file a form that's not available yet, you'll get a message with the option to sign up.

Please click on Review, on the left menu.  You may see a message "Some of your tax forms are not ready".  Below the message, you can select the link that says "I want to sign up for email notifications

can't finish e-file

This is not a forms issue.  Have finished the entire process, successfully finished the review, entered all direct debit info for fed & state balance due, paid by credit card for efile of the state return (VA), & have a credit card receipt for payment (Order No TTDCRTA133465937).  After exiting the payment screen to go back to Turbotax & efile, the program takes me to the Turbotax "pay for the state return" page again prompting me to pay again.  Can't get past this point.  Not the first time I've had this problem.  Very frustrating!

If you are having trouble e-filing your tax return, please try the steps below:

 

1. Log out of TurboTax and delete your temporary internet files (cache & cookies.) Click on the link below to get instructions on how to do this for the internet browser you are using. 

 

                                          Google Chrome

                                          Microsoft Internet Explorer

                                          Safari 

 

2. Close the browser and reopen it.

3. Log into TurboTax and try again.

4. Try a different internet browser
