It is possible for a 1095-A to be issued, but since the person does not qualify for any subsidy it will usually have
- The full premium paid in Col A, and
- Col B and Col C are blank.
- TurboTax will not allow blanks in Col B.
To resolve this you can enter $0.01 any blank Col B spaces.
Column C can be left blank.
To do this take the following steps:
- Click Deductions and Credits
- Scroll down to Medical and Click Show More
- Click Start or Revisit next to the ACA
- As you walk through the questions, you will be asked if you received a 1095-A.
- Click YES
- Continue through to the end and submit your return.
- Enter $0.01 for Column B
