Can someone help me amend my 2021 tax return?

I need help adding my crypto info. I did not know that I needed a dirrerent form and there was not questions on my 1040 when I filed. But now I found that I need to file my cryto info. Please help. Thank you

If you add securities info, including crypto,

it will appear on Form 8949 either in detailed form (each SELL transaction itemized)

or in Summarized form (subtotals by Box Category)

This will change your numbers on Schedule D.

Schedule D and the new Forms 8949 become schedules and forms that are new or changed and must be included with Form 1040-X.

If you e-Filed 1040, then if you get your 1040 return revised as needed and 1040-X reflects that, you can e-File Form 1040-X.

TurboTax will include the required forms when you e-File 1040-X.

E-File will close on October 15th.
