Can someone help! I’m confused on how I owe $2 in federal taxes even tho I’m non exempt and all my taxes get taken out automatically from my paycheck every pay period?

I’ve never owed before and I’ve always been non-exempt. So, I’m not sure why I would owe anything?

Apparently you had just $2 less than your tax liability withheld from your paychecks.  So you owe the IRS $2.    Be glad it is not more.

 If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.
